Saturday, March 2, 2024 -National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula has today mentioned that any African Union AU Commission job is a Government job and not individual.
Addressing today Saturday March 2, the former Bungoma County Senator explained that, being chairman of the commission is a Government concern since by Raila Odinga becoming one, government of Kenya will take full credit.
“You can only be sponsored by your government. Also those who are going to vote in the exercise are presidents of member States,” Wetang’ula said to prove that there was nothing wrong with Kenya Kwanza administration supporting and financing the campaigns.
He added that every State officials had been instructed to go round the Continent campaigning for the opposition boss to take over leadership at the AUC in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
