Energy Cabinet Secretary CS Opiyo Wandayi has told off those attempting to fault Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party from working with the Government.
While addressing residents of Kisumu over the weekend, Wandayi noted that there is a conspiracy theory out their to try and brand Luos as ‘permanent opposition outfit’ what they(ODM) will not accept going forward.
According to Wandayi, churches, civil rights groups and certain parts of the country want to claim that government is bad now that Luos have joined and when Luos are on the streets the governing becomes good.
“There is seemingly coordinated effort to try and push us pout but we will not accept. We are going to work from within no matter what they speak,” he announced.
CS Opiyo added that it is equally possible to criticize the government from within and that this is a resolve they have since made as a party.
