Her active involvement in Odinga’s daily political activities has seen many of Raila’s powerful faces grow cold feet and decide to keep themselves on the edge.

As per the Daily Nation, Winnie has rendered the once popular Orange Democratic Movement Party Women league President Beth Syengo jobless. Syengo can now rarely be seen around Mr. Odinga and instead Winnie has silently taken over her role.

The Odinga’s younger daughter, according to well-placed sources who talked to the publication, is calling shots in the party and, to boot, leaves nothing to chance with several phone calls at the Orange House.

In fact, the Daily Nation established that Winnie is the De’ facto Personal assistant to the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

What triggered the opposition leader to allow this to happen no one can tell with certainty; but this still could have likely been triggered by his age and health.

That said, Suna East MP Junet Mohamed is the only lucky man who must be present anywhere his boss is.
