Monday, May 30, 2022 –Despite having been rigged out during Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party primaries held in Migori County, Ms Fatuma Mohamed common by her nickname ‘Full Network’ will win elections.
Mizani Africa’s latest opinion poll now puts her ahead of the woman representative incumbent, Dennitah Ghati, who ODM Party favoured and handed the nomination certificate to the dissatisfaction of local voters.
During their party primaries, Fatuma was openly robbed of her victory and the ticket quickly given to her competitor who locals have described as a ‘failed leader’ who should be send home.
It has also today been established that Fatuma – running independently – will beat the incumbent by a larger margin.
“When your voice is not heard, don’t expect to be served. In the upcoming polls, I represent the voices of 300,000+ voters of Migori County. I wake up every day energised that there will be no bots in the August 9th polls! Your voices shall be heard!” Fatuma commented on the poll.
Pollster data shows she will garner 53 percent of the votes followed by Ghati with 21.3 percent. Josephine Achieng emerged distant third with 12.3 percent.
Moreover, Lydia Nyangala emerged fourth with 9.1 percent while undecided voters in the county remain at 2.8 percent.
Fatuma shot to the limelight when, a few months ago, she sold her sh 25 million apartment in Nairobi to support Odinga’s 2022 presidency.
