Thursday, August 12, 2021 -President Uhuru Kenyatta’s convoy was heckled while making its way in the area today Thursday August 12 evening

Dundapost.com reported that on arrival in his home tuff, Uhuru’s convoy entourage was shouted away by residents who insisted they only recognize William Ruto’s wheelbarrow Movement.

Uhuru who comes from the next village Ichaweti was an MP for Gatundu before he rose to become a minister and later the fourth president of Kenya. Now it seems his legacy around his own area is facing headwinds from local leadership.

In the video that Dundapost.com posted today and which has since gone viral on all platforms, the residents who are walking on foot as the convoy snakes into the area, can  be heard shouting Wheelbarrow slogans.

“Wheelbarrow…..sisi ni wa wheelbarrow ya Ruto,” they shouted.

This is happening amid division in the ruling Jubilee Party where those leaning towards the Handshake want a Raila Presidency while the rest think Ruto could make the best fifth president.

On that note, President Uhuru has already started campaigning for Raila whom he has been holding several strategy meetings with almost on a weekly basis.

Today, sources claim Odinga had also arrived in Gatundu shortly after Uhuru for another high voltage strategy meeting.
