Thursday, August 26, 2021 -A deadly explosion has engulfed a section of Eldoret-Webuye Road after a matatu collided with a petrol tanker leading to a deadly explosion.
Sources have reported that the incident left several persons feared dead as scores were rushed to various Eldoret hospitals for medication.
“PETROL TANKER bursts into flames after colliding with matatu at Mukhonje on Eldoret-Webuye Road, several feared trapped in the PSV,” the report in the Daily Nation indicated.
Of recent, the country has been witnessing continuous accidents on all major roads where innocent lives have been lost.
The main cause of these accidents being recklessness and poor road signs at black spot zones especially along Nairobi-Mombasa road and Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.
On Wednesday August 15, six persons were left dead on the spot when a PSV van was involved in a head-on collision with a truck. the PSV was headed to Nakuru.
