Monday, September 6, 2021 -Vocal Cherengany legislator Joshua Kutuny has reportedly gone back home to support Deputy President William Ruto.
Revealing this on Monday September 6, Mr. Kutuny noted that it would be wrong to continue ignore the voice of his electorates as 2022 nears.
He explained that after a thorough consultation with stakeholders across the board, he had to make the U-turn and come back to Ruto’s camp despite being the current Jubilee Party Vice Chairman.
He took the opportunity to urge his constituents to follow their heart and vote the president they want into power.
“With 2022 being around the corner, my advice to my people is; elect a president of your choice. I will not go against what my constituents have declared,” Kutuny said.
The MP also said it was time to make solid and viable decisions since without listening to the people on the ground then there is no point to go into leadership.
He also seized the opportunity to tell his Kalenjin Community that they only have one presidential candidate; in an indirect reference to the deputy president.
“Kalenjin nation has only one presidential candidate since others are busybodies,” Kutuny said.
The MP has been a pro-BBI politician and has for long been against the DP William Ruto’s leadership ideologies and therefore his coming back home will be received with mixed reactions.
