Monday, February 15, 2021 -Drama ensued at AIC Church during a fundraiser where Kinangop MP Kwenya Thuku gathered courage and told off DP William Ruto in the face that he is misleading Mt. Kenya Region on the BBI.
The vocal MP who recently decamped from Ruto’s camp to join Uhuru’s side stressed that the DP was not being sincere on the BBI matter and that his main agenda was to mislead people from Mt. Kenya for political reasons.
He confirmed his new loyalty saying after seeing the light, he found out that both Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta were telling Kenyans the truth because they care while Ruto was not.
“Let’s stop the rhetoric and tell people the truth. We have seen what the president has done even as his deputy keeps on attacking and criticizing him,” he said.
Thuku then mentioned several successful projects the president had accomplished in the area and other parts of Mt. Kenya.
“We have many complete and ongoing projects in Nyandarua and other parts of Central Kenya,” he said.
Thuku consequently urged people from Mt. Kenya to stop being deceived by politicians whose record was questionable.
